Kleskun Hills offers a backyard break

Article content

With summer-like weather beginning to show up in the Peace Country, many people look forward to getting a break from work or the yard.

Kleskun Hills Park, a County of Grande Prairie park northwest of Bezanson, provides that perfect opportunity whether you want a place to camp on the weekend or just want to get away from the farm one afternoon before spraying one of the fields.

The park is unique in its look as the lower part adjacent to the campsite resembles the terrain around Drumheller in southern Alberta, more than the typical landscape of the South Peace.

A day trip or a weekend stay offers an opportunity to enjoy nature and get a break without travelling too far afield.
